Corporate Governanace

PrimeLife expects to achieve its overall vision through an excellent team work.
At PrimeLife, we are committed to the highest standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct.To ensure our commitment, we have developed a framework within which we operate that enables us to be governed by laid down policies and procedures.
 
In order to monitor critical areas of business, following committees have been formed: 

Audit Committee

This committee consists of four members, Three Directors and Internal Auditor, which continuously monitors governance of laid down policies. It also ensures compliance of the comments made by independent Internal Auditor in the day-to-day affairs of the company.

Investment Committee

This is an Investment committee, consisting of three members, One Director, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer. It works within the risk areas and investment sector, purview of Audit Committee and ensures zero gaps between the laid down policies and activities of the company.

Risk Management Committee

This is a risk management committee, consisting of three members, One Director, Chief Executive Officer and Head of Underwriting. It works within the Life Insurance business risk areas, purview of Audit Committee and ensures zero gaps between the laid down policies and activities of the company

Human Resource Committee

This is a HR related functional committee, consisting of three members, One Director, CEO and Head of Human Resource Department. The role of the Human Resource Committee is to make decision regarding Human Resource related issues & HR Policies review process.

Claim Payment Committee

This is a Claim related functional committee, consisting of three members, One Director, CEO and Head of Claim Department. The role of the Claim Payment Committee is to prepare policy regarding the process of claim payment and review the Claim payment policy.

Executive Committee

Executive Committee, which consists of Chief Executive Officer, Head of Underwriting, Company Secretary, Head of Human Resource, Head of Marketing, Chief Financial Officer, Head of Operations / Admin, Head of IT, Head of Agency, Head of Corporate Business, Head of FE Business, Head of Claim which ensures effective management of the company.
